Personal information

You need a wattwatt Account to use wattwatt. This involves providing an email address and a password which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access.

As a wattwatt member, you create a profile that includes personal information, such as your gender and interests, plus other content, such as a photo. This information may be accessed and viewed by other wattwatt Members.

You can update your profile information at any time by clicking on the "edit" button.

Your personal information

wattwatt maintains and processes your personal information displaying it according to the preferences you set in your Account.

When you send messages through wattwatt, your name and email address will be identified in the message. IEC may also use your name and email address to contact you or provide you with other information.

IEC may, but shall have no obligation to, remove Materials that IEC determines in our sole discretion are unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable, or infringes or violates any party's intellectual property or other proprietary rights or these Terms of Service.

Using your personal information in other countries

Your country's privacy laws may require your consent before your personal information can be displayed from our servers in countries with weaker privacy laws. By accepting our Terms of Service you give your consent to this practice so that IEC can operate in multiple countries. No matter where your information is processed, this privacy policy will remain in effect.

Security

IEC takes precautions to keep your personal information secure from unauthorized access such as encrypted transmission between your computer and our servers. IEC limits access to systems that store your personal information. We also periodically destroy old personal information when it is no longer essential to our ability to offer you the same high quality service.

Terminating your account

You can terminate your Account at any time. If you terminate your Account, your profile, including any messages in your inbox, will be removed from the site and deleted from wattwatt servers. Deletion may not be immediate, and residual copies of your profile information may remain on backup media.
