Cleantech - Top ten green universities in US and top 10 countries

Philippa Martin-King on January 6, 2010 | 639 Views

A long while back, I mentioned the LED lighting in the city of Ann Arbour in one of my pulses.

It's no surprise then to find that Ann Arbour figures in Shawn Lesser's top ten green universities in the US. It seems that where there's cleantech there's a lot of academic stimulus too which encourages cities to put into practice what's being researched nearby.

When it comes to cleantech countries, renewable energies top the list with first Denmark (wind), followed by Germany (solar), then Sweden (green cities), UK (transport), Israel (water reprocessing), Switzerland (financing of), US (funding of) and then UAE (renewables of tomorrow), China (photovoltaics) and Canada (hydro).
